We like that this hotel is directly across from the ferry docks, and in the midst of the bustling activity of Main Street, so that when one does enjoy the view from the porch they can feel a part of it all. The Lake View Hotel captures much of the past with its Victorian-style atmosphere and nineteenth-century vernacular resort architecture, including a modified hipped roof accenting an open, wood-columned porch and a raised basement.
