From the depths and range of her voice emerge well-crafted songs: tunes for healing, aching songs that swell with unhurried intensity. Her playful and moving performances have earned her a strong following in Michigan. She has released several albums, most notably Bloodroot, which was funded by a Kalamazoo Arts Council Emerging Artists Grant in 2013. She is a member of Earthwork Music and is currently residing in Portland, Oregon where she works as a Montessori elementary teacher. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.elisabethpixleyfink.com\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to shop and listen to their music.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>8pm, Marquette Park, Mackinac Island &#8211; Free<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a spectacular backdrop, our summer concert series takes place on the lawn of a National Historic Landmark, Marquette Park, which is at the foothills of Historic Fort Mackinac downtown across from the marina. Bring a picnic and tune in for some great live folk, rock, country, blues&#8211;the best of Americana. All concerts are free.
