Mackinac Island Great Turtle Trail Run – Photos
This year marks the 23rd running of one of the most scenic trail events in the state. We have a capacity of 3,000 participants running and walking the inside trails of Mackinac Island during the last open weekend of the season.

Another awesome race on #mackinacisland. It was carey86c and my second run on the island this year. After taking quite a break to nurse a hamstring injury, I was very pleased with the time I was able to put down. Naturally, carey86c finished ahead of me. One more run on the island this year to complete the tri-fecta. We will be back at the end of October for the #greatturtlerun #mackinacisle #bestrunteamever

I feel like a million bucks!! I went to runningfit_tcsouth today and got some new Brooks! I’m an Asics girl but they were so comfortable!! The kids went biking and I pegged in a 2.5 mile run. Running is something I used to do everyday but I let it slip away.
