I’m photographing my first wedding at “the new” Inn at Stonecliffe this weekend and I’m so excited!
After being closed for 2 seasons and under going a huge gorgeous renovation I’m so excited to be back behind the lens to capture one of my favorite venues in the world. So in honor of this super fun weekend I thought I’d post a few from a few years back.
Some things have changed but the love, the fun, the Mackinac Magic is still 100% there. Especially the last detailed photo.. check that out! Can’t beat games and champagne! And I promise you Stonecliffe still brings the bubbles and still brings on the backyard fun!

Day 6 (part 1): And on the sixth day, a mass power outage quieted Mackinac (and caused a brief widespread morning coffee panic) but the weather more than made up for it.
Rose early enough to catch the sunrise at Windermere Point, and spent the day chasing the cruise ships around the island.

/ After our ride around the island (a breezy 8 miles) we made the trek high into the island's center to take in the breathtaking renovations at innatstonecliffe
/ my first time back at the Sunset Rock overlook since 1993!

/ At Stonecliffe we managed to rendezvous with friend & landscape painter Maeve Croghan after her painting class. Love Maeve's art and admire her seamless Mackinac / SF split year life!
/ Took a spinoff ride out to Arch Rock on Crooked Tree road with Maeve to catch up, check out the new nature center, & snap a few more pics.
