Good morning 🌞from #mackinac! This is truly a magical place. I’m still in pinch me mode that I’m here. Yesterday’s ferry ride was interesting between the Midg’s / Fly Soilders (if you know you know) and the fog but my new friend Mary and I got across the lake! My cart got loaded behind me and we were off to #missionpointresort! I was just in time for dinner and had a warm welcoming. Was so nice to meet and hug Carmen from #cousinsquiltshop. She puts on this incredible retreat!!!! A big thanks goes to staceycoffee_ for helping set my classroom and #popupshop up! I’m going to go for a walk this morning and then heading to my classroom later to finish a few things for my #makeandtake tomorrow! I’m really looking forward to meeting all the quilters here at the seminar. I teach three classes the rest of the week! I sure hope my students will be excited to learn my passion for hand embroidery! As you all know I LOVE flowers. The tulips are at their peak so I will be sure to share my morning walk with you later! Happy Sunday and Happy Stitching!!!

The Jewel is comprised of the Grand nine, across the street from the hotel; and the Woods nine, set in the interior of Mackinac Island. The Jewel features scenic beauty, lush landscaping and meticulously manicured tees, fairways and greens.
The Grand nine was built in 1901 and redesigned in 1987. The Woods nine, added in 1994, was designed by golf course architect Jerry Matthews. Transportation between the Grand nine and Woods nine is by specially designed horse-drawn carriage. Clubs are available for rental. Golf carts and pull carts are available. Package rates, based on double occupancy, start at the following:
Adults 18+: $401.00 per adult for two nights; $114.00 per adult per night additional
Teens, 13-17: $198.00 per teen for two nights; $25.00 per teen per night additional
Children, 12 and under: $113.00 per child for two nights; free additional
Package requires a two night minimum stay and is subject to availability from May 13 – October 8, 2022. Package is subject to availability and inclusions are for the number of adults and children stated on the reservation. Please note that there are no refunds on unused portions of the package. All stays are subject to 6% Michigan Sales Tax, 10% Resort Levy Fee, and 3% Mackinac Island Assessment Fee.
