It was a sunny and calm day Elizabeth, so everybody stayed warm, even in short sleeves!

It is a perfect day for a round of golf! Where else but on Mackinac Island do you get a horse-drawn carriage ride to the back nine?
Im jealous i wis i could go on a vacation to the grand hotel 🙂

Oh boy! A large group of us from Granbury, Tx will be going to Mackinac Island, August 16 - 23!!!! Can't wait. I'm going to have to look this place up for some chocolate fudge!! The island looks beautiful!

I love that hot tub. After a day on the island on a bike.... that thing feels soooo good. Looking forward to the fall trip there.

Looks like an English oil painting. Can I come out and stay? One of my fondest SC memories was the 1979 Dock Porters Ball.

They're asking "Why did you leave us here in the snow? You trailer your Harley Davidsons south; why not us?"

Great news!!! The Anna May has proven herself worthy today as she broke through the ice barricade which has been barring our way! She is now in open water with the mission of clearing out our other St. Ignace and Mackinac Island docks. This gets us one giant step closer to running passengers to Mackinac Island!. Please stay tuned for more information.
Yeah starline keep it up and keep going!! Our family has kids going to work right after Mother's Day so we are all excited things are moving forward !
I always think of the Titanic when I hear anything about "Star" lines or ice.

Vicki without those tourists there would be no need for the ferry companies or even all the things on the island. Those tourists make is possible with all the money spent. Don't bash them.

I remember Anna May when she was rough shape docked up in the Saginaw river. I'm so proud how far she has come!
Good news!! With prom jut over a week away the kids were getting worried they was not going to be able to go to the island for prom.
