Great day for an early fall color tour on Mackinac Island...Today was a great day for an early fall color tour. Although, the fall colors are have not reached their peak, you can find vibrant splashes of crimson, gold and orange in pockets along all of the back roads and hiking trails. We didn't run across anyone on the island who was disappointed.

We are happy it see the sunshine again! The leaves are just starting to change color and it's a great time to explore the Island.

Missed coming to Mackinac Island Saturday due to the weather. Hope to visit in the future.
