With brilliant fall colors, crisp island air, and a relaxed pace, autumn is one of the most enchanting times to experience Mackinac Island and Grand Hotel.

Celebrate two days of uplifting music at Grand Hotel with the dynamic and acclaimed Legacy Five. Renowned for their rich harmonies, heartfelt lyrics, and vibrant stage presence, Legacy Five has become one of the leading voices in Southern Gospel and Christian music. Their sound blends tradition with contemporary warmth, creating performances that are deeply moving.

The group features:

Lee Black — Tenor, known for his smooth, soaring vocals

Scott Fowler — Lead, a founding member with a signature heartfelt delivery

Jake Losen — Baritone, bringing depth and balance to the ensemble

John Epley — Bass, celebrated for his resonant, commanding tone

Tim Parton — Pianist, offering artistry and emotion at the keyboard

About Legacy Five

This October, we look forward to welcoming Legacy Five back to the Grand stage. When the legendary cathedral quartet retired in December of 1999, Scott Fowler and Roger Bennett decided to continue the rich musical tradition of Southern gospel quartet singing. Legacy Five was organized and had their official debut in January 2000 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Since that day, they have made a major mark on the Southern gospel music world. Immediately, audiences responded overwhelmingly to their four-part harmony and their ability to effectively communicate the message of Christ.
