Zoo De Mack ride in the books! Something I've been wanting to do since 2008 is finally checked off. 51 miles of what was some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever biked and the state has to offer. Starting in Harbor springs and riding the coast line to Mackinaw City was simply euphoric for me. The first 15 miles were all hills (which made me question my idea of doing it and fun), but the remainder of the ride was through trees along Lake Michigan and sand dunes. The feeling of finishing was surreal and a little emotional. I'm thankful the weather held up and the sun was shining. I can't thank the guys at rollmodelsracing enough for having my bike fixed and coming in clutch 10 days before the ride (seriously if you want to get into biking please go see them). Also thank you to everyone who messaged me the morning of and during it to make sure I was still alive .
