Get ready for another epic, fun-filled Halloween celebration this Saturday, October 27, 2018, on Mackinac Island. Enjoy all of the Halloween decorations throughout the island. Dress the kids up in their favorite costumes and take them downtown for trick-or-treating from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm on Saturday. And then put on your favorite costume for some adult Halloween fun Saturday night at the Pink Pony and other bars and restaurants on the island. Children’s Trick-or-Treating down Main Street and Market Street. Businesses will be handing out candy Saturday the 27th, 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

You’re going to want to bring your Halloween costume and hit the town! Costume contests will be held at several establishments, including the Pink Pony and Gate House.

This year marks the 23rd running of one of the most scenic trail events in the state. We have a capacity of 3,000 participants running and walking the inside trails of Mackinac Island during the last open weekend of the season.

I feel like a million bucks!! I went to runningfit_tcsouth today and got some new Brooks! I’m an Asics girl but they were so comfortable!! The kids went biking and I pegged in a 2.5 mile run. Running is something I used to do everyday but I let it slip away. Another awesome race on #mackinacisland. It was carey86c and my second run on the island this year. After taking quite a break to nurse a hamstring injury, I was very pleased with the time I was able to put down. Naturally, carey86c finished ahead of me. One more run on the island this year to complete the tri-fecta. We will be back at the end of October for the #greatturtlerun

Happy #RaceDay Saturday #Runners 🏃🏽♀️🏃🏻 #Ran the #runmackinac #greatturtlerun #greatturtletrailrun #halfmarathon today. Came in 7th overall and 1st in my AG 🕺🏻 This was an awesome #run and I highly recommend it 👍 Yes it was a bit cool (low 40s) with off and on 🌦 but the course was VERY scenic and soo much fun to run through. Now to rest up ... I have another #race next week 😱🙈🦆 #runhappy #runnersofinstagram #runmichigan

What an amazing day! The weather held out for the race... no rain until I was all finished. Probably the toughest course I've ever run, so I'm super happy with my time... I'll take a 14 minute pace when the race director starts with 'there's a really steep hill right at the beginning, but don't let it scare you, there are lots more after that one'. Such a beautiful course! Oh, and that medal! I'm in love with that medal ♡
