Mackinac Island Great Turtle Trail Run – Photos
This year marks the 23rd running of one of the most scenic trail events in the state. We have a capacity of 3,000 participants running and walking the inside trails of Mackinac Island during the last open weekend of the season.

Another awesome race on #mackinacisland. It was carey86c and my second run on the island this year. After taking quite a break to nurse a hamstring injury, I was very pleased with the time I was able to put down. Naturally, carey86c finished ahead of me. One more run on the island this year to complete the tri-fecta. We will be back at the end of October for the #greatturtlerun #mackinacisle #bestrunteamever

My face when my Garmin connect app finally begins working again! . half marathon training: week 3, day 2: this is a recovery week. Yesterday I actually had NO workouts scheduled, which was really nice! Today I completed a “Fast Finish” run, and it felt great. I feel like I’m finally getting the hang out this heart rate training!
